3D inspector

One workspace for every published description on this site. Choose a model, assemble the vendor's own URDF in the browser, and read the joint tree in plain language. A joint angle here is the URDF value, not a datasheet figure. Galbot G1 is wheeled. Unitree G1 is a biped.

What this page is

Evidence boundary. The inspector proves the same thing as the catalogue: the vendor publishes a complete public description, and it parses. It is not a specification source and it is not a live robot. Nothing here establishes payload, mass, runtime, or a degree-of-freedom count you can cite — those live on the class pages, behind vendor manuals.

The left-hand panel is a kinematic readout of the loaded URDF. It is not motion-capture telemetry. Research dashboards that print LHipP, discrepancy, yaw rate, or a gait label such as STANDING are playing back a tracked motion. This page has no such stream, so it does not invent those numbers.

Workspace

The model list is the catalogue. Changing the selector loads that card's commit-pinned URDF and the visual meshes it references. Without JavaScript the list below still links to each catalogue card.

No model is loaded. Pick one from the list to assemble its official description.

How joints are named

Vendor files abbreviate for control code. The inspector expands those tokens so a reader can find the part of the body without memorising a driver map. The vendor identifier stays visible in monospace, because that is the name the URDF actually uses.

Side

L / left → Left. R / right → Right. A trailing R after a side is roll, not another right.

Joint

Hip, Knee, Ank, Sh, Elb, Wr, Waist, Head expand to hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, head.

Axis

P pitch, R roll, Y yaw. So LHipP is Left hip pitch, not a product metric.

Groups

Rows are filed under Legs, Arms, Hands, Torso, Head, Base, or Other from those tokens. Fixed attachments stay collapsed; they hold the tree together but do not move.

Published models

Each hash opens that description in this workspace once the inspector script is running. The catalogue card remains the evidence record.
